Standard:

A standard account is what nearly every SMJ customer has and is used to bid on nearly anything and place web orders. If you're not sure what account to get, then a standard one is for you.

Automotive:

An automotive account will allow you to bid on car parts listed on YHJ, and order automotive items off websites; something a standard account does not allow. Different rules apply to automotive accounts and are listed below:

1. All deposits use a 1:1 ratio. Meaning reguardless of the kind of deposit you are only allowed to bid the amount you deposit.

example: A $100.00 deposit, whether cash or an authorization, will allow you to bid 11,000 yen

2. Limited storage options. Most car parts cannot be stored at all and will be shipped out to you soon after they are recieved. Shipping options are often limited and we will choose the method best suited. Most car parts will ship via SEA, but you can email us to change your default shipping method to EMS or SAL. Larger items often can only ship via EMS due to size and weight restrictions.

3. Huge items are still not allowed. Spoliers, full exhaust systems, engines, body panels, etc. are not allowed. If we are forced to ship DHL or USPS due to the size you will be fined $100.00 + 20% of the shipping cost and your account will be closed permenantly. If you're not sure if an item is allowed, email us and ask prior to bidding.

4. There is a 15% handling fee on the shipping charges for all car parts items. So if shipping costs $100.00, there will be an additional $15.00 fee added.

5. You don't have to bid on just car parts, its open for bidding on all other items that a standard account allows. However its recommended to open a 2nd account if you plan to purchase a large nuber of non-auto related items. All shippments from an automotive account are subect to the 15% handling fee wether the items are automotive or not.
